WINDOWS 11 IS LIVE!

Overview

After 5 years, Microsoft has announced their major upgrade Windows 11. It would give a fight to Mac OS. But this is in the beta stage and Microsoft will launch the stable version of Windows 11 later this year. Some rumours show that it would be launched in October.

The new windows look glassy and with rounded corners. It looks sleek and transparent. The taskbar is bought in the centre and it can also be moved to the left. The notification panel or action centre gets a new look. Setting panel also looks new and added with simplified features.

The design looks fresh and some of them were Linux. The dark theme looks cool and performance was better than windows 10. Yet it is still in beta stage. It is so buggy and updates have been provided to fix this. Once the stable release is out we could find a clean OS. It would be a great relief for Windows 10 users.

With Windows 11, they introduced Chat from Microsoft Teams integrated in the taskbar. It  can instantly connect through text, chat, voice or video with all of your personal contacts, anywhere, no matter the platform or device they’re on, across Windows, Android or iOS.

For Windows 10 users with fulfilled hardware requirements, the update will be free of cost. For Windows 7 or 8 or 8.1, Microsoft would charge for them.

Current windows 11 can be downloaded using windows insider program. Reminder that should be noted down is it shouldn’t be downloaded in the primary system. Because it is still in beta.

System requirement:

To install or upgrade to Windows 11, devices must meet the following minimum hardware requirements:

  • Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with two or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or system on a chip (SoC).
  • RAM: 4 gigabytes (GB) or greater.
  • Storage: 64 GB* or greater available storage is required to install Windows 11.

Don’t worry if your system doesn’t meet the system requirements, Microsoft will continue to give updates till 2025.

Android apps on Windows 11

The big point is that Microsoft doesn’t care what kind of app you made. It can be Win32, .NET, UWP, Xamarin, Election, React Native, Java, a PWA, or something else, and Microsoft wants it in the store.

Microsoft announced that Adobe Creative Cloud, Disney+, TikTok, and Zoom are all coming to the Store. Moreover, it’s bringing Microsoft Teams and even Visual Studio to its virtual storefront. That’s a big deal, especially Visual Studio.

This is opening up the Microsoft Store in a big way. Previously, big-time apps like Google Chrome were left out because of Microsoft’s own rules. Now, it’s a whole lot easier to put your app in the Store. It is done through the Amazon App store.

You can install Android apps just like you can install any other kind of apps on Windows. There’s no need to get them from the Amazon Appstore; you can download an APK and install it.

Here are the link for unofficial Windows 11 OS which can be downloaded at your own risk with proper installation, check again the windows 11 supported specification.
